Earlier this week, I received the pair of Next%'s that I ordered but after just one run of 7 miles, I had to send them back.
The shoe was comfortable, and bouncy, and amazingly light, but something about it just didn't work for me and my knee started to hurt less than a mile into my first run. I had a pair of the Nike Zoom Fly 3s that I eventually had to stop wearing because they started to make my knee hurt, but I have never experienced anything like the sensation I had while wearing the Vaporfly.
The pain got worse as I went along and eventually I just called it off and decided to return the shoes.
My knee hurt for several hours afterwards yesterday, but then the pain went away, but when I went for my run this morning in my New Balance Fuellcell TC's, I had to stop after a mile because my knee kept giving out.
I've run over 300 miles in the Fuelcell TC without an issue, so this was pretty alarming.
I'm gonna give my knee a rest for a few days and hopefully whatever issue I have as a result of the Vaporfly will work itself out.
