We have a few more showing up soon. I'm not sure if they are discontinuing this shoe in 2009, but wouldn't imagine so since it's been a solid performer for them. We actually won't see the fall '09 XC shoes until a month or two down the road. If you drop us a line then, we can let you know for sure. For now though, availability is good.

There was a video series up on Runnerspace.com a while back that were interviews with the Nike design team. They showed a prototype of the Streak XC 2. Said it should be out next September I believe.

Well that's more information that I have - looks like a new model will be coming in the Fall. That being the case, if you are intent on sticking with the current version it may make sense to stock up.

Hey Joe, id like to buy the nike zoom streak xc's for my upcoming xc season is it viable to run on concrete a little bit with spikes? because i think most my races have a little concrete. also wat size should i buy if i wear asics 1140's size 9.? also would this shoe be ok for an overponator?

It's a flat, no spikes, so it'll work for concrete. It's also a neutral shoe, not designed for an overpronator. You should look at the flats classified as offering some support - Asics Bandito, Brooks Racer ST 4, adizero Mana, NB RC769, Saucony Fastwitch, etc.
