Brooks speedwork shoe - Launch or Ghost II?

I am currently looking for a shoe for tempo runs and intervals. In the Brooks line what would be best the Launch or the Ghost?

On paper it would appear that the launch is the way to go, but I have read reviews stating that although it is light it is very soft and doesn't feel as fast as the heavier Ghost.

I am a very experienced runner and I prefer light weight, no nonsense type shoes. My previous high-mileage shoes were the Adidas Adizero Boston at 9.7oz.

Any thoughts?

They're both on the softer side, but given a choice, I'd go the Launch just because it's a lighter shoe.

I have both and I would suggest the Launch. They feel considerably lighter and, while soft, have more of a racing flat feel than the Ghost. The Ghost has the ride of a standard training shoe really feels heavier than it's 10.3 oz weight.
