I haven't been running very long but had finally gotten to where I really enjoyed it and could comfortably go 6-7 miles, then the "injury" happened. My ortho said to get some shoes with good support. I'm flat footed and I serverly overpronate. I also have a narrow foot. What would be a good match for me? I want to try and find the best shoe so that I can get going again. I'm currently only up to 3 miles again and that's not completely pain free. I've been running in the Mizuno Wave Alchemy G which isn't supportive enough. I'm 5,8' and 134 pounds. Would be happy to run 3 to 4 about 4 times a week with a couple of 6 to 8 miles on the weekends. Thanks.

Wow, the Alchemy is very supportive and if that isn't enough, you really only have a few choices left in the motion control category. If you like the fit of the Alchemy, consider the Mizuno Renegade. Another motion control shoe that fits on the narrow side would be the Saucony Stabil. Th Brooks Addition is a very good motion control shoe and comes in a narrow width.

Those would be some very good optios for you.

Here are some suggestions:
- Adidas Adifusion motion control: Narrow'ish, good medial post and cushion, on the lighter side.
- Nike Cesium 2: Tilted heel that counteracts the pronation by forcing your foot to stay on the outer side. Air and lots of mesh.
- Adidas Supernova control: Moderate control...good cushion.
- NB 1221: Good looks, good medial post..not intrusive, might come in narrow.
