Hello Joe,
Just wondering if you could take a quick look at my running form from this video:

Looks OK. What was it you wanted me to look at specifically?

to me it looks like I have too much upper body rotation, possibly overstriding and I just basically look awkward

I think you're being too critical. I thought you looked pretty decent. Hard to tell from the video if you overstride. An easy way to check is to count the number of times your right foot touches the ground while doing a tempo run. A turnover rate of 96 or better for 60 seconds indicates you are doing a good job of NOT overstriding. What I do is count turnover for 10 seconds. If I see 16 rights touches or better, than the athlete is striding properly. Any less indicates overstriding. You don't want to count turnover when sprinting because it will inflate the value, same if you're counting on a recovery run, too slow. Tempo runs seem to work best. If you are less than 16, play around with increasing turnover during your tempo runs. Ideally tempo runs aren't run so fast that you have a hard time concentrating on other tasks such as counting or being able to manipulate your turnover.

as long as striding came up.
Have you ever worked with someone that actually "understrides" and what point does someone determine this. My cadence is over 100. I'm just curious if this is seen? I do have a lack of flexibility (I'm 43 and have torn hammies), but wondering if it is also a lack of strength?

It would have to be significantly higher than 100. 104 or so isn't that uncommon.
